1871 - Sant Andreu de Palomar: Ignasi Iglésias i Pujadas, dramatist and poet, who was part of the Modernista movement.
1910 - Paiporta, l'Horta de València: Josep Lluís Bausset i Ciscar, Valencian teacher and activist (died 2012).


1910 - Sabadell, Vallès Occidental: Gabriel Batllevell i Tort, Catalan general contractor, father of the Modernista architect Juli Batllevell.
1922 - Barcelona, el Barcelonès: Felip Pedrell i Sabaté, Catalan composer, music teacher, musicologist and music critic, leader of musical nationalism in Catalonia.
1939 - València: Julio Colomer Vidal, murdered CEDA deputy.
1998 - Lleida, Segrià: Leandre Cristòfol, Catalan sculptor, considered one of the pioneers of surrealist sculptire in Catalonia.
