This selection looks at Camp Nou Hotels within a 1 kilometre radius of the FC Barcelona Stadium.
You will find an excellent choice of accommodation within easy walking distance of Camp Nou, including luxury hotels, late rooms and apartment flats for rent.
Les Corts tends to be a bit posher with nicer restaurants and hotels whilst the Collblanc area on the Sants/Hospitalet border is much rougher and readier and where you'll find cheaper bars and places to eat.
The majority of Camp Nou hotels within a 1 kilometre radius are quite upmarket, so you might have to look a little further afield if you want something cheaper.
It is also worth bearing in mind that with such good public transport you might be better off staying closer to the city centre and making your way to Camp Nou by using the Barcelona metro system, especially if you are staying in Barcelona for a few days.
The map below gives a rough idea of the area covered in this article.
Plaça Pio XII, Les Corts, 08028 Barcelona
Any list of hotels near Camp Nou has to begin with Hotel Princesa Sofia as its one of most iconic hotels in the city and, to local Barcelonans, almost as famous as Camp Nou itself.
However, although the Princesa Sofia is a 5 star hotel with 5 star installations, it's not nearly as expensive as many luxury hotels in Barcelona City Centre.
This enormous hotel has 500 rooms all of which are soundproofed with air-conditioning and satellite TV.
If you are tired after the game, relaxing massage and beauty treatments are available and guests have access to the spa and pool.
There are plenty of high-quality restaurants in the area but the Princesa Sofia's Contraste restaurant has both an a la carte menu and a buffet available and the Bavarian Beergarden s opens during summer months.
The Princesa Sofia is located close to Maria Cristina Metro Station on Avinguda Diagonal and is just a few minutes walk away from Camp Nou.
This is definitely where I'd stay if I had enough money to get seats in Tribuna for a Barça v Madrid Clásico.
Comte de Güell, 32, Les Corts, 08028 Barcelona
Right at the other end of the Camp Nou hotels scale is the 1 star Hostal Conde Güell, which is much closer to the stadium on the Collblanc side.
The Conde Güell has 18 rooms and is more of a cheap hotel than a hostel.
Most of the rooms are quite basic doubles but include a TV and there's also a communal kitchen area equipped with a microwave so you can heat up your own food.
Hostal Conde Güell is located in a good area for cheap bars and if you want to go upmarket the Diagonal is only 10 minutes walk away.
However, unless you are making a very quick stopover or plan to go drinking in the area round the ground before and after the game, you're probably better off finding a cheap hotel in the city centre and catching the metro to Camp Nou in time for kick off.
Sabino de Arana, 22-24, Les Corts, 08028 Barcelona
This four star hotel has an excellent reputation and is one of the nicest hotels near Nou Camp without costing quite as much as Princesa Sofia.
Catalonia Rigoletto is about 500 metres from Camp Nou and 5 minutes’ walk from Maria Cristina Metro Station on the Green L3 Metro Line.
With 65 rooms, stylishly decorated in dark woods and equipped with TV, mini-bar and safe, the Rigoletto looks a reasonable choice to me.
The hotel's Traviata resaurant has a good reputation for Mediterranean cuisine and the Rigoletto bar features attractive paintings.
More of a business hotel than a football gaff, the Catalonia Rigoletto is ideal for a two or three-night short stay.
Cardenal Reig, 11, Les Corts, 08028 Barcelona
Senator Barcelona Spa Hotel is also 4 star and is about 500 metres from Camp Nou on the Collblanc side.
The rooftop pool has great views of Barcelona and the hotel's main attraction is well-equipped and massage service with a Turkish bath, a hot tub and sauna.
With 213 rooms, the Senator is another big hotel and there is free Wi-Fi throughout.
The hotel's restaurant serves mainly Catalan cuisine but also has a decent selection of international food.
As you are so close to Nou Camp, you get an excellent view of the stadium and looks like an excellent choice if for an overnight stay for one of the big games.
Riera Blanca, 10, 08903 Hospitalet de Llobregat
Despite having an address in Hospitalet, Hotel Madanis is actually one of the closest hotels to the Camp Nou stadium.
This 4 star hotel opened in 2007 and with only 30 rooms is pretty chic and pleasant with modern rooms and decor.
It's located on the Collblanc side of the stadium, and so is very close to the Blue L4 line metro station taking you to Sants or Sagrada Familia.
Zona Universitaria on the green line is also accessible so you can get to Plaça Catalunya very easily.
Francesc Layret, 2, 08903 Hospitalet de Llobregat
The cheaper version of Hotel Madanis, the Madanis Liceo is a modestly-priced 2 star hotel perfectly located right next to the entrance to Collblanc Metro station.
This means you're five minutes walk away from Camp Nou with plenty of cheap bars and eateries on your doorstep.
You can have breakfast at the nearby 4 Star Hotel Madanis but you've also got the more than decent M-Bar cafeteria on site for light refreshments.
As its only a 2 Star don't expect too many luxuries, but the Madanis is more than adequate and very well located for getting to the ground.
Avinguda Diagonal, 661-671,Les Corts, 08028 Barcelona
This article started with 5 star Princesa Sofia so I'll finish with Hotel Rey Juan Carlos I, the other 5 Star Camp Nou Hotel and even more luxurious, if anything.
Hotel Rey Juan Carlos I is actually 1.1 kilometres away from Camp Nou close to Zona Universitaria but I'm sure your chauffeur will have no problems getting you there in time for the game and the setting is probably worth it.
The 25 hectares of gardens, poolside terraces and an award-winning spa are what really make Hotel Rey Juan Carlos I a more of a city centre resort than a simple hotel.
With 24 meeting rooms on the premises as well as 2,000 m2 of exhibition space and an auditorium with capacity for 4,000, the Rey Juan Carlos I is an excellent option for business conferences and trade events.
