We'd been away all week and didn't get back till Friday so had missed most of the festivities in the Festes de Gràcia. Howevever, on Saturday morning, we made the effort to walk up the hill from where we live in the Dreta de l'Eixample to the Vila de Gràcia check out this year's street decorations.
As luck would have it, the first street we came upon was the bottom section of Carrer de la Fraternitat, which was the 2016 winner with the brilliant Under the Sea theme.
Here are a few photos, which should give an idea of what we saw. It really is a joy to live in Barcelona sometimes ... well, not sometimes, most of the time, actually.
