Not surprisingly for a festival named after a rose, Les Festes del Roser on La Rambla have the subtitle La Rambla en Flor or La Rambla in Flower so the already flowery and colourful avenue really comes to life.
Buildings are decorated with flowers for the whole week and there are flower stands to be decorated by passers-by located in strategic places.
On the Friday, Saturday and Sunday, there are concerts, street food, a craft fair and, of course, a procession of Gegants leaving from the Palau de la Virreina.
You also can the chance to have a free visit to many of the museums on La Rambla or a guided tour of some of its famous historic buildings, such as Palau Moja or Palau Güell.
