1848 - Vic: Jaume Balmes i Urpià, Catalan philosopher, theologian and Catholic cleric.
1873 - Barcelona (Barcelonès): Esteve Paluzie i Cantalozella, liberal paleographer, teacher and antiquarian.
1959 - Sabadell: Ramon Bassols i Genís, doctor and founder of the Amics de Núria.
1986 - Barcelona: Joan Baptista Cendrós i Carbonell, Catalan businessman, philanthropist and cultural promotor (born 1916).
1991 - Sabadell (Vallès Occidental): Dolors Viñas i Camps, Catalan teacher and journalist.
