1938 - Esparreguera, Baix Llobregat Lluís Subirana i Rebolloso, sardana expert.
1942 - Barcelona: Montserrat Figueras. Catalan soprano, specialising in old music.
1948 - València, l'Horta: Antoni Ortiz Fuster, known as Ortifus, humouristic Valencian illustrator.
1979 - Barcelona: Ariadna Oltra, journalist and TV presenter (Els Matins de TV3, TN Vespre, 3/24)
1981 - Palma, Mallorca: Briggite Yagüe, Mallorcan taekwondo fighter.
1939 - Girona: Carles Rahola i Llorens, journalist, writer, historian and politician (born 1881).
2011 - València: Maria Beneyto i Cuñat, Valencian poet (born 1925).
