Sants-Badal

More Hospitalet than Barcelona

The Sants-Badal neighbourhood originally formed the western part of the Santa Maria de Sants.

However, the neighbourhood looks more closely to the Hospitalet barri of Collblanc from which it is separated by the narrow Riera Blanca.

The dividing line with the rest of Sants, however, is the Ronda del Mig, which creates a barrier between the two neighbourhoods.

The neighbourhood boasts a fine rambla - Rambla de Badal (shown below) - with some very fine Modernista buildings and the other main centre is Plaça de la Oliveret.

However, I have admit that it is very diffcult to distinguish Sants-Badal from the rest of Hospitalet or Sants.

The neighbourhood has no metro stations.
