Working Women at Festa Major de Gràcia 2016

On Saturday morning we paid a visit to check out the street decorations. Here are some photos of the Working Women street, which seemed a bit angry at the entrance but was really great inside.

The third street we visited at the Festes de Gràcia, after Carrer de la Fraternitat and the Pirate Street was dedicated to the theme of Working Women.

There were some slightly gruff looking lefties with a petition or something at the entrance so nearly didn't go in.

I'm really glad we did because the decorations were lovely and a bit like my hometown of Nottingham, the role of women in the 19th century textile industry is key to understanding the history of Barcelona.

Did you visit Gràcia this year? Please feel free to write about your experience and upload a few photos.
