Barcelona Metro L10 is one of the city's newest underground railway lines and opened in 2009.
The Light Blue Line runs from La Sagrera, which will soon rival Sants Estació as Barcelona's main overground station, to Gorg in Badalona.
Like the L9 Line with which it shares part of the track and three stations, the L10 Metro Line is useful for getting to parts of northern Barcelona that were previously difficult to reach.
However, when work is completed the Light Blue Line will cross the city centre and go out to the factory complex at Zona Franca, a connection that has been on Barcelona's wish list for a very long time.
You can buy single journey tickets and a variety of travel cards, including the excellent value T10, in the machines in the FGC entrances.
However, if you are visiting for a few days, it is well-worth investing in a Barcelona Card, which not only gives you full access to the Barcelona integrated transport system, including metro, buses, trams, ferrocarrils but also discounts on Barcelona museums and tourist sights as well as in some shops and restaurants.
