1954 - el Genovés, la Costera: Paco Cabanes Pastor "el Genovés", Valencian pilot, considered one of the best in history.

1969 - Neuss, RFA: Mónica Oltra Jarque, Valencian politician and lawyer.


1783 - El Escorial, Madrid: Antoni Soler i Ramos, Catalan composer and organist (born 1729).

1911 - Barcelona: Joan Maragall, Catalan poet and writer, important Modernista poet at the turn of the 20th century (born 1860).

1926 - Barcelona: Narcisa Freixas i Cruells, Catalan composer and music teacher.

2009 - Alzira (la Ribera Alta): Enric Solbes, Valencian painter and illustrator (born 1960).
