1942 - Sant Quirze Safaja (Moianès): Màrius Torres, Catalan poet (born 1910).
1943 - Barcelona: Carme Karr, writer in Catalan, composer and feminist activist.
2009 - Barcelona: Joan Oncina, Catalan tenor (born 1921).
2015 - Girona, Gironès: Edward Hugh, English economist.
