1964 - Barcelona: Pius Font i Quer, Catalan botanist, pharmacist and chemist (born 1888).

1984 - Barcelona: Sebastià Juan Arbó, Catalan writer (born 1902).

1997 - Pineda de Mar, Maresme: Joan Coromines, Catalan linguist.

2000 - Santpedor, Bages: Anna Maria Martínez Sagi, Catalan poet, trades unionist, periodista, feminist and republican athlete (born 1907).

2011 - Sant Llorenç de Morunys, Solsonès: Manuel Riu i Riu, Catalan historian (born 1929).
