1410 - Barcelona: The stipulated day to legitimate Frederic de Luna as heir to the Crown of Aragon. The event didn't happen because of the sudden death of his grandfather King Martí the Humane the day before.

1952 - Barcelona: Closing of the XXXV Congrés Eucarístic.


1913 - València: Vicente Escrivá Soriano, Valencian producer, scriotwriter and film and television director.

1941 - Sabadell: Jordi Domènech Soteras, poet in Catalan


1433 - Xàtiva, Kingdom of València: Jaume II of Urgell the Unfortunate, possibly assassinated by the brothers of Alfons the Magnanimous, the princes Joan, Enric and Pere (born 1380).

1926 - Barcelona: Ramon Turró i Darder, veterinari, biòleg i filòsof català (born 1854).

2015 - Figueres: Maria Perxés Santomà, Empordanès librarian (born 1927).
