1967 - Barcelona: Josep Obiols i Palau, painter, illustrator and engraver considered "the most representative artist of noucentist culture" (born 1894).

1994 - València: Don Pío, Valencian humourist (born 1951).

2014 - Barcelona: Ana María Matute Ausejo, Catalan novelista in Castilian.
