1971 - Barcelona: Joan Manén i Planas, virtuoso violinist and composer. (born 1883)

1990 - Barcelona: Manuel de Pedrolo, Catalan writer. (born 1918)

1992 - València: Joan Baptista Mengual i Llull, known as Isa Tròlec, Valencian writer (born 1945).
