1041 - Castell d'Aro, County of Girona: Countess Ermessenda de Carcassona hands over Castell de Benidormiens to the Monastery of Sant Feliu de Guíxols.

1706 - Xàtiva (la Costera): Field Marshall Joan Basset frees the city, occupied by the Felipistes (War of the Spanish Succession).

1850 - Vic (Osona): Teresa Saits i Vilardebò founds the congregation of the Religioses de Sant Felip Neri i la Puríssima Concepció.

1948 - Portell de Morella: Anti-Franco resistance fighters Ángel Fuertes Vidosa, Manuel Ortiz, José Nieto Martín, Andrés Gómez and Manuel Torres Camallongadie in an attack by the Guardia Civil.
