The market building, an unremarkable concrete building which serves its purpose admirably, underwent a number of renovations during the 1990s, the most important of which included the installation of solar panels.
The market, which offers a full range of meat, poultry, fish, fruit and vegetables etc is air-conditioned and adapted for the disabled and also has a car park, which is free for custmers.
