Lamela guarantees Puigdemont's rights to Belgium and the Belgian public prosecutor warns that the extradition of the ex-president requires extra evidence. Russia demands evidence from Spain to show meddling in the Catalan crisi while the Spanish government sustains it hasn't accused the Kremlin and PSOE demands explanations. Jordi Sànchez will be Number Two for Junts per Catalunya.

There were also demonstrations demanding the release of the imprisoned members of the Catalan government, which were not considered sufficiently newsworthy to make the front page of La Vanguardia.
