I also like La Guineueta, Can Peguera and El Turó de la Peira because what they lack in architectural finesse is made up for by a strong sense of community and good facilities.
I'd think quite seriously before investing in property in any of the neighbourhoods above the Ronda de Dalt main road because of the relatively poor transport connections to the Barcelona City Centre.
The same could be said of of Ciutat Meridiana, Torre Baró and Vallbona, which are collectively known as Nou Barris Nord, and are almost completely disconnected from the rest of Barcelona.
