Sant Cebrià de Vallalta is a municipality of about 3,000 people located in the comarca of El Maresme inland from the coast in the valley of the Sant Pol river below the Montnegre mountain range.
The municipality comprises a number of urbanisation such as Castellar d’Índies, Vistamar, Can Palau, Can Bartomet and Can Domènec as well as isolated Catalan country houses or masias.
In the town centre, the Gothic parish church built in 1577 is particularly nice as is the Casa de Can Coris from a century earlier, which has a Plateresque portal.
In the last few years, Sant Cebrià de Vallalta has become particularly popular with people buying second residences and summer homes and some have even decided to stay and live in the village permanently.
By Road: A local road links Sant Cebrià de Vallalta with Arenys de Munt and with Sant Pol de Mar.
