Saints' Day of Sant Pau Apòstol

January 25th is the Saints' Day of Sant Pau or Saint Paul the Apostle, who was originally known as Saul of Tarsus before having the experience on the road to Damascus and converting to Christianity.

Paul was born in Tarsus between AD 7 and 10 and was executed by decapitation in Rome some time between AD 63 and 67.

He is a key figure in the development, evangelism and preaching of early Christianity and as an interpreter of the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth.

Paul is venerated as a saint throughout the Christian world.
