The municipality has a short section of coastline but the town itself is set a couple of kilometres inland.
This lovely quite Catalan town is centred around a few main streets and a square where you'll find a few shops, bars and restaurants.
On the edges of town there are a number of traditional Catalan country houses as well as various defence towers dating from the time when this part of the Catalan coast was under attack from Moorish pirates.
There is also a popular golf course and club at Golf Sant Vicenç and the picture below shows Bar Casinet, which is where we've always stopped for breakfast everytime we've been to Sant Vicenç.
By Road: The main N-II road along the coast passes through the municipality, linked to the town by a local road and there are also roads to Arenys de Munt and to Mataró.
By Rail: The closest train station is at Caldes d'Estrac and is on the RENFE Rodalies R1 Line.
