Spanish Government decides to intervene in the accounts of the Generalitat and the Spanish Treasury will pay the basic services and civil servants directly. "Now we can't trust" the Catalan executive, says Montoro while Rajoy says "They're going to oblige us to go where we don't want to". Puigdemont and Colau ally to condemn the "repression" of the Government and send a letter to Rajoy, with a copy to the King, calling him to agree on a referendum.
